Each Wednesday the students have the opportunity to gather together and focus on worshipping our God for about 35 minutes. The Chapel Committee at CCHS is a team of students and one teacher who plans these chapels. The committee works together to make sure that all the needs for each chapel are taken care of.

Chapel can be organized in many different ways. Sometimes there are speakers, sometimes we join together in bringing praise and worship to our Lord through music and song. At other times there are video clips that are used to teach a Christian lesson, and other times students are given time to spend alone or in small groups with God in His Word or in prayer. The possibilities are almost endless, but the Chapel Committee aims first to bring glory to God, and second to edify and challenge the body of Christ at CCHS.

The theme for Chapel in 2009-2010 is "Challenge."  Each month, we will be focusing on different challenges that we face, especially as they pertain to our faith walk.  At the beginning and the end of each month, local pastors/youth pastors will help to lead us in thinking about that month's challenge.
