The Chapel Committee at CCHS is a team of students and one teacher, Mr. Alphenaar, who plan chapels for the student body each week. Each Wednesday the students have the opportunity to gather together and focus on worshipping our God for about 35 minutes. Each chapel is organized by an individual on the chapel committe, which is made up of about 10 students. The committee works together to make sure that all the needs for each chapel are taken care of.

Chapel can be organized in many different ways. Sometimes there are speakers, sometimes we join together and bringing praise and worship to our Lord through music and song. At other times there are video clips that are used to teach a Christian lesson, and other times students are given time to spend alone with God in His Word or in prayer. The possibilities are almost endless, but the Chapel Committee aims first to bring glory to God, and second to edify and challenge the body of Christ at CCHS.

There will definitely be more to come from the Chapel Committee on the school website, things like a schedule of chapel, what's going on, some more focus on the theme for the 2008-2009 school year, and more!
