Thank you Coaches!

Golf Club

Twelve students participated in the Covenant Christian High School Golf Club this spring. We played on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at the Sandy Pines Golf Course.  We did not have to cancel any scheduled events due to weather, and had a great time enjoying the game of golf and developing our skills.

We had one match against the Kankakee Valley Junior Varsity Golf Team, and in spite of a good effort by our team, Kankakee edged us out by only 4 strokes.

On May 21, we finished our season with a 4 team scramble involving students and several adult sponsors. At the end of 8 holes, 2 teams were at even par, one team was one over, and another team was 2 over. That set up an exciting finish.

Thank you, Coach John Stamper for a great track season!
