Can you help? 

Ø      The Spring Rummage Sale Committee is looking into having our remaining rummage items brought to Jasper Junction in Rensselaer.  They are willing to receive our items but they would need to be brought there after the sale on Saturday, April 17.  We would need volunteers that would have an enclosed trailer to be willing to transport them.  We need to make this decision soon, so if you have access to a trailer and would be willing to help in this area, please let us know

Ø       Volunteers are needed to sponsor the golf club. They will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in April and May. The schedule is April 6,8,13,15 20 &22 and May 4,6,13 &18. Sponsors can golf the 9 holes for free or even just walk along if they don't want to golf. For more information or to sign up to do any or all of the dates they can contact the office. 

Ø       April 19 – American Red Cross is scheduled to come for the day for a blood drive.  We are looking for volunteers to help “man” the tables – checking in students, handing out snacks/drinks, etc.  If you can help, please contact Pam in the office.

 

Don’t miss your chance – 2009-10 yearbooks are being pre-ordered now for $30.  Order forms are available in the office.  Completed forms and payment are due Thursday, April 1(that’s the week after Spring Break)!! To date, only 21 orders have been received.  If you would like to personalize your yearbook with a name stamp, the cost is an additional $5.

2010-11 tuition assistance forms are available in the office. The deadline is April 30.

For our spring production of Oklahoma!, we still need to borrow a  stiff cowboy rope.  If you can help, please contact the office.

 

 

Senior Parents:  Nine seniors still need to pay for their cap & gown rental, $23.36 payable to Covenant 

 

Matching Gift Challenge

1. What are the specific matching gifts?
   1. The donor has now committed to a matching gift of up to $25,000 towards the $50,000 10^th Anniversary Gift budget line item.
   2. The donor has now committed to a matching of up to $15,000 towards the goal of raising $30,000 of individual gifts for Tuition Assistance.
2. What is the up-to-date status of gifts received?
   1. $50,000 goal – received $20,785; pledged amount is $2,500 for a total of $23,285
   2. $30,000 goal – received $ 8,010; pledged amount is $3,000 for a total of $11,010

We look forward to the participation of many individuals in our communities as we meet and surpass these two fundraising goals.  Give this your prayerful consideration.  Ask yourself, “What am I to do? What can I give to help meet these financial needs at Covenant Christian High School?”
